Hot springs are a natural “hot water pools”. Research on hot springs has become more and more active over the decades and has been practiced as a dominant pain-care, skin-care treatment modality coupled with tourism in countries such as Japan and Italy. In Japanese culture hot springs have become an attractive part of the Japanese health service today, including enhancing blood circulation, fat burning, weight loss, and hot spring bathing to cure skin diseases, and array of hotspring based healthcare solutions. Onsen helath academic and SARABIO Onsen Probiotic Lab.Co.Ltd. in Japan has been actively involved in understanding the effect of a novel hot spring algae extract named as RG92 (regeneration gateway) for suppression of inflammatory cytokines (anti-inflammatory) and relieving cells pain induced by inflammation. ANMRC is partnering with Japanese counterparts to explore Hot spring health care applications to a broader community in the region who are not privileged to access natural hatstrings
Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is a non-antibiotic antimicrobial solution developed during the First World War by the dilution and acidification of sodium hypochlorite (Dakin solution) for the treatment of infected wounds. HOCl also has an important anti-inflammatory and proliferative activity. ANMRC focuses on furthering research work by its counterparts in Japan by exploring the potential of HOCl as disinfection substance with special attention to its ability to combat sanitary and healthcare issues in south Asia attributable to tropical climate and less attended health infrastructures. High emphasis will also be given to control of epidemic situations such as Corona viruses using HOCl
